In terms of Herrera, he lost a close, competitive 7-5 fight to Danny Garcia. To argue otherwise is a disservice to both guys tbh.

Most thought it was foolish Manny to re-sign with Top Rank look at his options. Nonito had to re-sign to get certain fights he tried that with Chavez Jr. who was smart enough not to do it. Manny went from a million plus PPV each fight to 385k 2 outta 3. If Floyd fight doesn't happen make that 3 outta 4 with Vargas as the back-up plan.

Nothing against Lemieux by the way, he has gotten better since losing to Rubio and Alcine but you have to question his level of competition and him and his team picking the right styles to match him up against to avoid another loss

Think about it for a sec...Oscar is still living back in his prime days and he WAS like a fine lady fly trap. He knows that a guy that looks pretty suave with KO power can be a powerful attraction for the females. It happened with Algieri and that guy has zip on his punches. If marketed right, he could bring in some extra females into the fan base but he is going to have to specifically mention them and play the role...you know, be a player so to speak. It could work but he has to keep winning in impressive style and play it cool after the fights. Sounds crazy but that's why they call it "thinking outside of the box"

It's not that Oscar is fake...I think in all honesty the guy doesn't know wtf he is doing...he does know if he's coming or going. He's driving golden boy right into the ground man. Oscars Knows whats going on, He sold his image extremely well to the Public( especially Female Audience....never have I seen so many girls on boxing fights than when Oscar was fighting.....Canelo has some of that sex-appeal that most other boxers lack.....and maybe just maybe Lemieux do the same. He is already big in Canada with the female audience + he is entertaining action pack kind of boxer.

Now, why would Oscar have any consideration with any of the guys that betray him? I remember Lara week ad half prior to Canelo's fight he left de la Holla and was talking crap, and he had the nerve to demand especial privilege from GBP...Really!!!!
