It's not a big deal that the guys at HBO don't think Manny can win. Wtf do they know? They're looking at it from a business standpoint. They want to air the replay, and they think they won't get to if the "winning" network gets to host it.

Yep, but the fight with Cotto would make a lot more money after Floyd fought Manny. Cotto would prob still do OK this May but if Floyd doesn't fight Manny there is going to be major backlash and people will refuse to pay for this fight, not to mention Mayweather Promotions won't be worth **** in the future if Floyd ducks Manny this time.

I just dont see how Showtime can afford to pay Cotto more than he would have made for fighting Canelo and still turn a profit. If they lost money on paying Maidana only $1.5mil, how can they make money paying Cotto in upwards of $10mil?
