Yup, if Mayweather-Pacquiao doesn't get done by month's end the Vargas fight will be announced within days.

Penagaricano said there is no deal in the works for a Cotto rematch with Mayweather, although he acknowledged that in recent months Mayweather adviser Al Haymon had reached out to him to gauge interest.

Mayweather doesn't want Manny. He wants Cotto.

So manny agreed but Floyd hasn't signed. Manny hasn't signed either lol

@latimespugmire: Want to be clear that @SHOsports and @HBOboxing are still sorting out how they'd produce, promote a @FloydMayweather @MannyPacquiao fight.

@latimespugmire: Once they do, then @FloydMayweather, who's more involved in such details than @MannyPacquiao, will weigh in.

So u and other pac fans think Floyd should sign when all the details aren't even worked out. Floyd isn't a puppet like manny

HBO should know to back off because Floyd is the A Side. He calls the shots. HBO is ruining Mayweather vs Pacquiao right now. THEY NEED TO BACK OFF.

All deals are not the same. If that was the case contracts would be pre written and all fighters would have to do is sign. Try again.

I get what you're saying, it makes sense business wise but come on now, nobody ever called for a Cotto rematch. Good entertaining fight? Yeah it was. No need for a rematch though.

But if I had to chose on who I wanted Floyd to face (if not Manny) bring on Amir Khan. It'll be something different and I would buy that fight.
