What is the amount of bleeding allowed before a referee can stop a fighting?

    Hello,

IF there is bleeding from one of the boxers, should the referee stop the fight?

And if he can allow it to continue, what is the amount of bleeding that forces him to stop the fight?

The bleeding of course is from nose, mouth and eyes

    Thanks so much

Affects your vision to the point where you can't tell the doc how many fingers he is holding up

it depends. body language is what the reff looks for i guess. it depends how big the cut is or if the nose is broken

I wouldn't think it matters. Unless u go through a pint of blood, which is unlikely. I thought it was more to do with anything that could cause permanent damage.

You don't measure blood you measure damage... and if he's taking that much punishment the fight should have been stopped already...

It's 3.5 gallons if the fighter is Irish.
