I have a theory: you´re 36, over trained, short and fat so fighting a younger, taller and more mobile guy will be a problem. Not taking anything away from Wilder though, I´m not a fan but him winning was good for HW boxing.

Excuses
You know why you were flat you were fat. 239 and paunchy belly doesn't equal best shape of career like you said cutting off ring is technique as well as head movement which you never had not throwing combos that's fatigue to heavy stop making excuses you were 20 more than a guy 5" taller. Same weight as Vlad stop with excuses

Trainer
Your trainer brags he has you since a kid molded you then both of you are responsible not knowing how to cut off a ring, jab, come in shape not fat, do something besides eat jabs catch and fire your own move your head don't just hold gloves up and eat a million jabs hoping a wilder counter will do the trick sad

Stiverne (or Stevens as autocorrect has named him) would have felt a lot worse if Tony Weeks had properly credited Wilder with his 2nd round knockdown of Stiverne. Instant replay needs to be instituted for situations like this. The difference would be that judges checking the replay could properly credit Wilder for securing the knockdown and all of the judges could then correct their scorecards deducting a point from Stiverne's performance in the second round.Last edited by Mr.Daddy; 01-18-2015, 02:47 PM.

You felt flat in the ring because you actually fought a fighter who has boxing skill. A guy who jabbed your head off and had constant movement... You're used to fighting fat slobs who stand flat-footed and let you land your shots...
