yep its not worth such a fat break between fights, Frank Warren would have got him Cotto I feel.
It took Warren years to be able to deliver anything like a significant world championship fight for Warren. The fact that he would not have delivered Cotto or anyone of that ilk is probably fundamental as to why Hatton decided to jump ship.
Besides, Top Rank does not want anything to do with a fight against any of the top boys at this stage.
I still think that it's going to be Vivian Harris. Hatton has never made plans to campaign as a welterweight.
Collazo can scrap, he throws alot of punches, i think he could give hatton alot of trouble, especially since this is in the states, Hatton could get cut, and in the states they will stop the fight on a bad cut.
Hatton does have trouble with southpaws. they fed him a steady diet of them a few years ago before he hit top world class but to this day he's never beaten a major southpaw star.
Luis is a good boxer, but I can't see him holding off the relentless, destructive wrecking machine that is Hatton unless he cuts him.
Luis is a contact hitter and not a slashing type of puncher, so I think Hatton rolls to a TKO win here.

Nope. He's the WBA world champ. It's better to beat the WBA Welter champ than beating the guy that lost his title to Maussa, who Hatton already beat.
how could be be the wba world champion when that was supposed to be one of Zab Judah's "undisputed" belts....
Luis Collazo is the wba regular welterweight champion..not the real deal at all...he won his title from jose antonia rivera, who won it in a vacant wba regular welterweight world title fight against michael trabant in germany!!
it pays to mention that collazo is ranked 43rd on boxrec's computer rankings!
