There is an art to it. Public speaking happens to be toward the top of the list of people's biggest fears so you wouldn't be alone in not knowing how to go about it.

Aside from just standing in front of the mirror and practicing....you could take a Speech or Public Speaking course at a community college or something like that. Most of them will make you get in front of an audience and give different sort of speeches. There are a ton of books out there on the subject as well. Watch C-Span, watch debates, watch people who speak in public a lot - a lot of them have the speaking and the body language mastered.

If not that then you can tape yourself, youtube is pretty good platform to be a mirror of how well you can hold a thought. At some point you will need to practice in front of people to know how well you're doing. Hope that helps, good luck in your endeavors.

be prepared, that means doing your homework on the person you are interviewing. listen intently to what the person being interviewed is saying and try to correlate what he is saying with the questions you should be prepared to ask, that way the interview flows seamlessly. be professional, slang and profanity will prevent you from being taken seriously by those who can advance your career. these are the things that separate a pro from a scrub with a camera.

Boxers are basically never good speakers, they just compare themselves to animals, say someone is ducking them, say they feel good etc

"I'm a lion in here I know he duckin me I feel good"

                  Maybe something about camp etc

There you go pats you on the ass
