LOL, what???? Don't you mean Cotto-GGG? Let's have the guy with a MIDDLEWEIGHT belt actually fight another boxer with a MIDDLEWEIGHT belt. If Cotto doesn't want to fight another guy in the 160 pound division, then he needs to drop the belt and move back down.

Yeah but the sad thing is Nelo isn't ranked at 160 while Cotto has that belt. Going for the gusto and doing my boy Martinez like he did was great and all but I 'm guessing he didn't think too far down the line as to who he would potentially be facing once he got that belt.

It's easy to want to play that cherry pick game in a weak division but when you have a rising star like GGG as your mando....it won't be long before you are forced, one way or another to face the guy or look like a biatch. Oscar knows this and it's a shame that Cotto's team didn't anticipate it.

You can tell just by the statements they make who really wants the fight. Oscar puts pressure in the media saying he agreed to lesser money and all the other demands, while cottos side keeps saying its not done and we have other options and its still not enough money and blah blah. Bottom line is cotto priced himself out, which fir me is disappointing because cotto was one of my favorites and now it seems he doesn't want to take the hardest fights available. I could understand fighting someone else for more money but this was a career high payday and cotto us middleweight champion draggin canelo up from light middleweight regardless of how you look at it. If hes a true champion at middleweight defend it against the best and who will give you your career payday. No excuse not to take this fight whatsoever. It wasn't about dates at all read the article.
With the date comes revenue doe.....

cotto wants the fight in june in msg. He doesnt care about the may 2nd date. Floyd-Pac trumps any other fight. Cotto is not ****** to compete with that. Canelo fans are the only ones crying. LMAO news came out that canelo might fight mundine LMAO thought it was clottey? Now im questioning his "ankle injury"
