Garcia vs Peterson at 143?

Is it true?
Will Danny "Swift" Garcia finally fight Lamont "Havoc" Peterson on April 11th?
is it also true this will be a non title bout at 143???
What in the "wild world of sports is going on here"???
Is this a ploy by Haymon, or the Garcia camp???
Why won't they unify the titles?????
Now I know 75% of the bloggers here like Garcia. Both are slow starters,
But if Danny does not land his left hook, or at like a Philly fighter, and hit him with low blows, Lamont will wreck "havoc" on him with great work ethic, and powerful body shots.
To me Peterson will out work Garcia....

So this means Peterson will be knock out twice and still keep his belt

what a joke. they'll only defend their paper belts against scrubs (i.e. salka) so they can get an easy win/defense and still call themselves "champs".

danny and peterson are two of the worst most disgraceful champs in boxing today and quite possibly the longest time since ever.

But I think this will be a good fight.I also think that Lamont will out hustle Danny.
Again, both are slow starters, but once "Havoc" gains steam in the later rounds, he can do some damage with that monster body assault.
But that's why they fight. And We will see on April 11th.....

Both guys have talked about having trouble making 140 and likely are only staying there in order to maintain their status as title holders. I'm glad they're fighting at a higher weight where they'll be able to perform a little better without any weight drain effects and be safer when it comes to taking punches.

I just wish they would've moved up to 147 for this fight but I think they're holding off because they don't want to be officially thrown with the guys at 147 yet. There's very marketable fights to still be made between Garcia/Broner & Peterson/Broner, which could be the other reason they're not fulling moving up to 147 yet.

I knew Haymon would **** it up someway, hopefully the card fails now. I don't even consider Garcia a champion in any way anymore. Aside from losing to Herrera his last two fights will be fought at 142 and 143, he's no longer a JWW and Peterson should never have had a belt. The excitement for this fight went from a 7 to a 4 that quickly. Only Haymon can **** something up that people actually want so badly.
