There is no other good way to work this out because one has to get over on the other which is never an easy pill to swallow.
Why would Showtime share the rights when HBO didn't share the rights the last time a joint event was put on? makes no sense.

Beyond that, I doubt that ESPN would be willing to put money for a delayed event.

The thing is that Showtime is perfectly willing to let HBO have those rights all to themselves, with no sharing needed at all. As long as Pacquiao wins.

HBO is the one who is refusing to do the same for Showtime if Floyd wins. They are basically admitting that they have no faith in their fighter, that's got to be like a slap in the face to Manny.

        • If this isn't a cover for Floyd not signing yet, then the blame falls on HBO.

Floyd beats nobody up! Had 3 KOs in 9 YEARs and one of the 3 was his kids mom. Paulie Mags, Rod SALKA, and Chris Algieri have more KOs in that timeframe and there's all came in the ring!!!

In this situation HBO is being far more unreasonable. If they're unwilling to do this the same way they did for Lewis-Tyson that is telling.
Such a ****** theory from guys who know nothing about promoting... There's so much more money to SHO splitting $$$ with HBO co-promoting a Floyd/Manny fight, than SHO promoting themselves a Floyd/Cotto 2.... By a long shot clown! The first fight wasn't controversial, wasn't really close, and there's been no demand for a rematch. Grow up idiots. Coming up with ****** fantasyland scenarios as though you're on the inside with a clue.

So why is HBO nervous to have the same deal if they feel Manny will win?

                • Yes it's Floyd fault HBO doesn't fully feel Manny can beat him. If they did they would use their original deal.

                  • Sounds like a rather small, insignificant matter that Espinoza, the creepy, ****-stirring c*nt that he is, is deliberately exaggerating in order to possibly save face on Mayweather's part should this fight not happen.

If this fight doesn't come to fruition, it won't be because of a dispute over which network gets to air the ****ing replay.
