I don't have any reason to doubt Watson. And I have never believed either man was afraid of the other, they just have egos and power struggles. Both want it.

Watson has been keeping fans updated on Floyd's side quite well. For some reason that's ignored though while everyone pays attention to the negative rhetoric on the other side.

I don't believe either man is afraid of each other either, I just feel that Floyd knows he has a lot more to lose, a lot more. And for that matter, he isn't gung-ho about this fight.

But I think the public has finally backed him into a corner and he knows he HAS to take this fight now, to keep any respect he has in life going forward.

He's already not a very much liked or respected person as it stands today.

Watson hasn't been wrong yet on these negotiations I don't think. I remember back in November he was saying the fight would happen

Good, because that will separate the groupies from the boxing fans regardless who wins.

And I'll tell you what, I cannot wait for that moment.

Sam Watson is not a mouthpiece for the mayweather side.
