Comments Thread For: Santa Cruz: After His Next Fight, I'm Ready For Frampton

Leo Santa Cruz is open to future fights against Scott Quigg or Carl Frampton and is even willing to travel for a world title unification clash.

The Mexican defends his WBC super-bantamweight title against Jesus Ruiz this Saturday in Las Vegas, but is hoping to battle some fellow belt holders in the near future.

Quigg, the current WBA champion, has voiced his desire to face Santa Cruz, but is expected to be sidelined until the summer after undergoing hand surgery.

GOOD! I don't know much about Frampton but just don't give Rigo more of your time. Let him disappear into the depths of boxing hell where he belongs. Don't get dragged into his game of trapping you into a fight just to run around like the coward he is. Don't mention him and he'll keep fighting in Japan on unknown networks. Networks, promoters and fans don't care about him, let him fade away.

WAR LEO!!! We want the Mares fight though! Entertaining, exciting fights. That's what we (the fans that networks care about) want. Otherwise we WON'T tune in!

            Thanks bro!

The sport exiled him, nobody wants to sit down to get bored. I have skipped cards with Rigo on them or changed the channel until his fight is done. Rigo is boring and pathetic. If people don't talk about him or acknowledge him like they are doing, he'll stay in the depths of boxing hell where he is. It's perfect how it is, having him the hell away from the sport fighting overseas where we don't have to see him.

He is suffering the consequences of being a stubborn little bish who didn't want to change his style, and it is too late to change now. His reputation is already set. I want nothing to do with him regardless of how he fights. I find him disgusting.

these are never going to happen everyones avoiding everyone, more chance of mares fighting gonzales again, unless hbo coughs up huge money like nas barrera then these arent going to happen, thing is though rigo isnt geting much anyway so i doubt it would even cost that much and frampton and rigo dont realy have big promoters do they so dont see why they cant get it done on golden boy card one time event without signing with em.

                    This ^
Is not a Boxing fan! I don't care what style you perfer, but to blatantly want a fighter not to fight the best is pathetic. I don't even know how to comprehend your post. You have GGG in as your avatar. One of his best attributes is cutting the ring off properly, to force his fight. Everyone runs from him, so by your logic, you shouldn't watch his fights.
You and whoever agreed with you are CASUALS, there's no other way to put it.
I don't like Rios but I appreciate his style 100%. All styles are needed in boxing and should be respected at least. If a brawler knows what he's doing, he can make very exciting fights with counter punchers. Pac vs Marquez for example.
Where are the real fans? Who wouldn't want to see Frampton, LSC, Rigo, and Quigg mix it up? Oh yeah Casuals!
