Rios is a very limited fighter. He is a slow come forward brawler. If Alvarado can stick to his gameplan and box from the outside and counter like he did in the second fight he should win. Hes also a strong puncher, he floored Marquez in their fight. Rios has a punchers chance though. If he does well at keeping the pressure and cut the ring off he could win, but he's slow so I don't see it happening. Alvarado by unanimous decision.

Boxing fans have lost their balls! To disrespect a warrior like this guy Alvarado is ridiculous the guy has never given a bad fight yet! No matter what is happening outside the ring that's his business! The ***** IS those that hate on an a guy that goes 110% in his job. For that show the man some respect!
Rios on the other hand has talked the talk, but hasn't walk the walk! Chaves won that fight and he cried like ***** all the way though it. No respect for himself or his people.

These types of fights were praised back in the day, now so many haters changed the game, simply by just being haters. Sad

In theory and on paper, yea it should play out like you suggest. But I really don't think Mike is the same fighter. The two Rios fights took a ton out of him, Provo broke his will, and Marquez spanked him around. Plus, throw in this legal trouble he's facing, and as others have suggested, this is truly do or die for Mike. I like the guy and I'll be rooting for him, but if he looses and looks badly doing it, he should think strongly about his future.
