Oleksandr Gvozdyk vs. Cory Cummings on Jan 24

Light heavyweight up-and-comer Oleksandr Gvozdyk (4-0, 3 KOs) is fighting Cory ''Black Ice'' Cummings (18-7-1, 13 KOs) on the Rios-Alvarado card.

Cummings is coming off a win against Yusef Mack and has only been stopped once (on a corner stoppage in the 7th round against Isaac Chilemba).

Cummings floored Azea Augustama (16-1 at the time) in the first round in his fight prior to that but ended up on the wrong end of UD in an eight rounder. Augustama was never off his feet to anyone else so Cummings can punch.

Was a nice KO for Sasha...hopefully continues his development. What I like with these prospects of ours is that they are moving up in class very quickly, for the most part. It's a great way of making sure the top amateur stars maximise their time in the pro game. Damn in a few years Ukraine might have more champs at one time over all divisions than any other nation...
