The ghost is actually a very good boxer.
The guy can box, brawl and even make the fight dirty.

Thurman can **** and box, but he's still a little green in my opinion. If he is able to take the ghost out, it will be a more than impressive win.

I agree. Guerrero is very versatile. He reminds me a lot of Tim Bradley in that respect, he's a fighter who can do a little bit of everything well. I would like to see him return to more conventional boxer-punching like he used to do at lightweight, instead of the chest-leaning he's favored at welterweight against Thurman.

I really don't know what Guerrero has that can pose a problem for Thurman. He doesn't have the speed or footwork to match Thurman and he's already been exposed as somebody who can be outboxed. Plus, this will be the first time he's tasted real welterweight power.

If the guy you're talking about who "exposed" him is Mayewather, well... I think it's a little early to be comparing Thurman's boxing ability to Floyd's. I don't know if I agree with you about Guerrero not having Thurman's footwork or speed either. He's still pretty fast and at lightweight he was an excellent outside fighter.

Guerrero is far more seasoned than anyone Thurman has fought. Smart boxers aren't easy targets. I know why a lot of people are favoring Thurman's youth and power to win this fight but I think The Ghost will prove to be a lot craftier than we've seen him be in his other welterweight matches.

Huge jump in class for Thurman. This is one of those fights that separates hype from reality. I favor The Ghost in this one, Guerrero knows how to make a fight ugly and I think a lot of people are forgetting how good of an outside fighter he was at lightweight too. Not saying Thurman can't win but I would be very surprised if Guerrero isn't the betting favorite in this match.

i would be too. berto's punches did not affect guerrero. once thurman gets floored early everyone will be in shock but it is so obvious that will happen. thurman will employ run time again and try to survive. guerrero should be heavily favored. he is at a much higher level than keith. run time is in for a rude awakening.

I don't see what the hype is behind Thurman. He hasn't proven jack ****. Guerrero has been in there with better competition and is going to steamroll and expose Keith 'One Dimensional' Thurman in 9 rounds or less.

Thurman has fought two former world champions and one current top 10 welter, Russell Jr. fought TBA x20.

Dude i didnt compare their comp, read my post again. What i meant by that portion of my post is that Run Time hasnt significantly stepped up his opposition enough, to convince me, that he'll win against Ghost, whose an established and proven fighter. So i wouldnt be surprised if he does get beat. But this is a good fight to see how he does measure amongst the better fighters of 147. Damn, just assuming im hating because of my analysis
And if Thurman does win ill give him his props and for the recprd i dont think thurmans a bum...hes a solid Top 10 guy, im just going with ghost, whose also a solid top 10 guy, because hes more proven and established.

Guerrero is a glorified Brandon Rios. Unreal the hype he's getting. Thurman wins this with ease.

Karass showed more skill vs Aydin and Berto than Guerrero did. Guerrero actually has worse defense and is just as slow as Karass these days. Dude just isn't that good.
