It depends it gives him options, if Showtime really wants to pay for a fight I am sure they can make Haymon listen. If they don't like a fight and mess with him he can just do it on NBC.

Having an ear at both is really key to him because he can get better deal at Showtime that way, and they can pay for the fights they want (at a premium).

As long as he can play both it is good, down the road he might have to totally decide on NBC (say in a year when his big dog no longer has a contract with CBS) but it behooves him to play both for as long as possible.

They probably will do anything because they lost all their numbers guys.
      DSG gone
      Broner Gone
      Hopkins Gone
      Thurman Gone

Those are the guys that came close to a million last year and DSG the only one to get it at peak.

They need fights because they have one major card set up while everywhere else has multiple cards set up.

WTF up is after Wilder/Stiverene? Nobody knows because all those fighters are gone.

But like somebody brought up before. Vanes/Trout seems to be happening... so that could happen on Showtime with Haymon fighters on the undercard

Espinoza needs to man up and quit accepting bull **** fights. Next time Haymon wants to put SantaCruz, Khan or anyone else on Showtime Espinoza need to stand his ground and give him his list of approved opponents. Like its been said here Haymon can't fit all those fighters on NBC, so he's gonna need Espinoza

I'm confused on how they're are screwed, now. They were screwed in 2014 getting rid of Haymon and Espinoza is a good thing not a bad one. Hopefully they don't drop boxing altogether but who is to say they can't sign up with RocNation and have them build stars on that Network? Or Kathy Duva, Lou DiBella, Golden Boy or Top Rank? Before Espinoza and Haymon got there all those promoters were on Showtime and HBO.

I also heard he might buy s pike tv for airtime

All the other Haymon fighters can fight on Showtime. So the likes of Ortiz, Mares, Wilder, one Charlo, Shawn Porter, Maidana, Trout, Vanes, Lara, ect are still able to fight Showtime.

I think it's the guys still with GB like Khan, Lucas, Santa Cruz and Jermell Charlo that may fight on HBO also until contract is up.

Haymon has too many fighters to put all on NBC, Showtime will still get their share of fights as well I'm sure...at least until Mayweather deal is over

LOL, Espinoza thought he was smart, dude signed the dumbest deal in boxing I wonder if he will be around in the next 3 years at showtime or fired?

He was responsible for allowing Haymon fighters other than Floyd to fight on Showtime without a tv contract, just like how Haymon convinced Richard Shaeffer to let his fighters fight on golden boy promotions without a contract to them just single fight contracts.

Showtime just got ****ed bad, they have nothing left signed a 250 million dollar contract for Floyd and made no profit and all the stars are now on NBC Free TV.

HBO got screwed by Haymon and Showtime Espinoza thought he was smart and that Haymon wouldnt screw them and he did. Espinoza just got used and abused like a two dollar whore.

Espinoza is now going to have to kiss and make up with Oscar and Arum after talking all that crap and not even picking up the phone to give Arum dates because he thought he had Haymon in his pocket, Espinoza is going to have to get on his knees now.
