This is a great start to the Haymon boxing program. Anyone criticizing him for offering fans quality fights that we were asking for all of last year is a true hater who has no credibility. Anyone who questions Haymon's motives is a complete idiot.

I was as big a critic of Haymon as anyone. However, I am very pleased with what I heard today and think he is going to provide fans with the quality fights we have been clamoring for for the last few years.. He has 19 shows scheduled for this year alone. We could get to see Broner/Matthysse or Broner vs the winner of Garcia/Peterson later this year as well as many other quality fights.

What we are being offered so far this year (Wilder/Stiverne, Alvarado/Rios, Paschal/Kovalev, Garcia/Peterson and Guerrero/Thurman) as well as potential fights between Mayweather/Pacquaio and Cotto/Alvarez are already better than what we saw in all of 2013 and 2014 as a whole.

A week ago I wasn't sure this was going to be a good year for boxing. Now, I know it is going to be a great year.

You won't find a single person on this site who will admit that they said this. I used to think both of them were bad for boxing. With today's announcement, I have changed my mind about one of them.

Hey, even that German dude with the goofy mustache got things right every now and then. Doesn't make him a hero or savior of the sport. Talk about a tard, you sure fit the bill exactly.

The guy's been at it over 2 years now, and has mainly put on stacks of pathetic fights. And now he's the messiah?

Ghost has been in some serious wars, and Thurman hasn't, but I still give the edge to the more experienced guy who has proven to be the toughest. Just so he doesn't catch a Thurman bomb flush, he's good for a UD.

As for the Bonehead/Molina quandary... whilst I would flat out LUV to see Bonehead flattened with one of Molina's patented bombs, I would imagine we'll get a boring Bonehead wide UD. But then there's the fact that Bonehead can be hit, so this could actually end up being the best night ever in boxing. We'll see.
