I agree he struggles to make weight which is why he's already in training camp. He hasn't made 154 but let's also not forget he hasn't had to. He's been the A side to Angulo and Lara so he could pretty much pick whatever weight he wanted.
Against Pac I'd think it be a different story. I'd think a good SC coach can get him to 152-153. Heck if Chavez Jr. fat arse was able to come down to 160 for Martinez when there were rumors he ballooned to 200 lbs, I think Nelo could do it.
And I'm aware that Pac has said he'd never fight above 147 again but it's a different story when a big money fight is being presented to you and your last 2 fights haven't been dazzling.
I would rather watch pac vs canelo. Atleast it's something new. Cotto is cool but he's not beating floyd. To beat floyd U need to come at him nonstop, and cotto fights nothing like that.
If that's how you beat Floyd, how come Maidana lost? And Cotto fights coming forward better than 99% of boxers on this planet. Your boxing IQ is that of a Forrest Gump level, stop posting.
Again the fights being more or less competitive is your opinion.
As I said with Nelo starting training early if he gets a good nutritionist he could probably make 152 fora catch weight. The guy is 24 not 34. Also with Pacquaio a bit past his prime this could make for a competitive fight.
On the other hand we've seen Cotto vs Mayweather. It will be the same result. In fact I see Mayweather being more dominant.
You are with Evol in that you don't know anything about boxing if you think Pac/Canelo is competitive with Canelo drained to the max and that Floyd somehow does better now. The first fight wasn't dominate it was a clear win. Cotto is better now, fact. Floyd is worse and slower now, fact. Floyd will lose that fight should they meet again, and I had Floyd winning the first fight. (Prediction and result)

Forrest Gump analogy would imply that while he is slow witted he is incredibly successful despite his handicap.
