I mean, according to NSB experts Amagasa was a top ten fighter and was coming down from 126, evidently Rigo has been fighting Giants most of his career, why not make it official and go up 4 lbs? RiGodzilla will be fine, he is the most amazing talent anyone has seen in boxing in over 20 years!

Hit and not get hit, you can't hit what you can not see...
Watch the boxingvoice rigo interview he says that donaire was 142 and rigo was at 128 great interview if you understand spanish rigo was taking a lot fo smack

In that interview rigo said he walks around at 128 and that he could comfortably fight against 118

Rigo flying to Las Vegas to confront Leo...

If he can do that, then if will be easy for the promoters to make the fight happen. That's free advertisement worth million of dollars.

I am very critical of Leo but Rigo seems to be avoiding 126, why? Many question this as well but no one answers... until it's time to make "RiGod" look brilliant and mention how he is beating "giants" the likes of Donaire and top ten FW Amagasa. However, when anyone mentions Rigo moving up all of a sudden he shrinks and won't move up. Now, I have stated Rigo might be too small for 126 in the past and also said after certain point Physical attributes>>>technical skill. However, Rigo has demonstrated his ability to handle men much bigger than him, in fact he earned the #4 PFP ranking on ESPN by beating Kokietgym but most notably a Featherweight in Amagasa. Evidently that erases the notion of him being too small to compete at 126 and since everyone is ducking him at 122, why not move up?
He is already fighting one division north of his weight, he is a 118 pounder, he is 34 and only hydrates to 125-126 on fight night, my question to you is, how many fighters do you know that only gains 3 pounds from weight in to fight night? What you want it to see is exactly what happened to Gamboa, floyd fought ginger but ask for a catch weight, same with pacquio, they all ask for an advantage in weight, Rigondeaus already say he could eet anyone at 124, so it will not be a smart move for a 34 years old Champion that can't gain anymore weight to go up and fight guys that will gain 15-20 pounds the night of the fight, without making any sacrifice (catch-weight), frapmton, st+, mares, quigg, kiko, and all the rest should grow a pair and fight the Champ, those fights are good ones...

Easy example using 2 of boxing's most prominent names and both you mentioned...Floyd and Pacquiao. They fight at 140 - 147 and don't balloon during fight nights. They are smaller than most of their opposition and are getting by due to their technique and talent, even at an older age and much deeper resume than Rigo.

Gamboa is a personal favorite of mine and he was doing great against the likes of TC the first 4 rounds, sadly his stamina is not up to par with this talent. He got dismantled once his gas tank was low and was no longer able to keep TC off of him.

Mares is a 126 pound fighter at the moment and his last fight was at Superfeather weight my friend, why should he grow a pair if he isn't even in the division. As for the rest, you said it yourself... no one is fighting him. I don't get it, are you contented with your fighter settling against subpar competition the likes of Kokietgym and Amagasa? You do realize that those fighters are one step away from being at the same level of LSC's opposition.. right?

He fights LWW when it fits your agendas but is too small for even SBW when it doesn't. Get your sh#t together fellas.

anyway, i don't think this will change anything

Canelo actually can control whom he fights. LSC cannot, so punking him will do nothing.
that's what they reported a couple of days after the fight, NY doesn't give the weight for the next day weight in because of the gamache fight against gatti, but it was reported and Rigondeaux comfirmed it and donaire has never denied that rumor, in any case why ppl are asking for a Champion with 4 or 5 good fighters in his weight class to move up in weight and give up more advantage? He is already north of his natural division...

floyd and pacquio always ask for catch weight and that's the trick, and you know that, if Rigondaux were to fight walters or any other 126 pounder and ask for a 124 catch weight detractors will go crazy, get it in your head, he is grown to his limit, pacquio started at 112 or something like that and look at his weight now, it is in his genes, some can do it others don't, it will not be the first or last Champion that stays in only one division, he has stated that any feather that wants to fight him can meet him at 124, and all the 122 can fight him any time, mares could had fight Rigindeaux before gonzalez but they thought johnny was an easier scalp, wrong, now he is fighting 130 pounds nobodies instead of fighting at his weight...

Floyd and Pacquiao HAVE asked for catchweights but they don't do it every single fight they have fought at the those weights.

Asking for Walters at 124 would be a joke and you know it, no matter how you flip it. Mares went after Jhonny because he wanted to defend his 126 lbs belt, that's it. He had just won it from a legit champion in Ponce de Leon, he was no longer a SBW, why would he go back down if his intentions were to keep moving up and keep conquering other weight divisions? Now that he got his ass blasted by Jhonny we might be able to see him take on Rigo but he said he wants Leo first and since Leo has been wanting to move up that fight might actually materialize at 124.

Anyway, I just don't see any point in your posts. What exactly is it? Didn't Rigo just fight 2 Featherweights in his last 4 fights? Why can't he stop beating around the bush and just move up already. By beating Amagasa and a LWW Donaire he displayed his ability to dismantle bigger men, stop making excuses already. Saludos

no he didn't beat two feathers, they fought at 122 so he beat two superbatams, so is a joke to you if Rigondeaux ask for walters to come down to 124 but it is fine if Rigondeaux goes up to 126, solet me do the math, 2 pounds is too much but 4 pounds is just fine?
