I like Bayless, he's probably the best ref in the sport all things considered. But he's over eager.

His "work out" instruction is fake, he never lets them work out, he just says it for the sake of it and then jumps in.

I disagree.. He kept the pace flowing. I rather keep the pace going. He only stepped in if they were clearly tangled up.

He let them fight on the inside in the latter rounds. And that went on for quite a bit.

I thought Bayless did a good job as well.

No, it isn't. Maidana doesn't deserve a Thurman fight at this point, he should go and avenge that loss he had against Alexander or take a tuneup.

Thurman/Khan or Thurman/Brook are the fights that should be taking place.
