According to Arum, Pacquiao has agreed. That's all we know. No one from the other side has spoken.

Well if its down to the tv/network deal, it was Floyd who went on the record to say that it MUST happen on Showtime while Arum has stated that both networks are willing to co-host the event. Both are contracted to their networks and this isn't going to happen unless both are involved.

Is Manny contracted? I thought it was up in Dec?

That's not up to Floyd tho. That's up to the networks. So what floyd says doesn't matter.

Yes. Manny is under contract with HBO per his terms with renewing his contract with TR. Its HBO who is helping Arum guarantee Pac his $20mil guarantee per fight.

The television part of the deal is not necessarily a slam dunk. There is a fierce rivalry there too, with production controls, promotional shows and budgets to sort out.

You're right. So if its up to the networks then there shouldn't be a problem as both seem willing to co-host the event.
