Andy Lee supposedly offered a Quillin fight for April 11

According to respected Irish journalist Gerry Callan, Andy Lee has been offered a defence against Peter Quillin in Brooklyn on April 11th.

Andy's estimated to make $300k by taking a fight in Dublin against a soft-touch like Lajos Nagy, then much more than that against Saunders in the summer. If Haymon wants Quillin's belt back he'll have to make a very big offer. I just wonder if Tom Loeffler's also involved on the bidding process, we could see a quick turn around by Golovkin after Murray.

Let me get this straight... Quillin vacated his belt to move on to bigger and better things..... and if this fight does indeed go through... he will have waited an entire year doing nothing to fight for his belt he vacated?

Lee might put up a good fight and he's been dropping that hammer lately.... but the backdrop of this fight seems ****** IMO....If it happens.

Lee better be getting paid a shitload....and lol at the WBO saying the winner had to face BJS

The only explanation is Al Haymon didn't want Jay Z/Roc Nation promoting one of his fighters, even if it was only for one fight. That's basically what it comes down to (Haymon's ****** beef).

Better than Konency and Guerrero and Better than if Golovkin fought him in April last year because Lee came off some pretty bad fights.
