Comments Thread For: Haye: Khan is The Only Man Who Can Beat Mayweather!

Former champion David Haye believes his countryman, Amir Khan (30-3, 19KOs), is the only fighter on the planet who can defeat WBC/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (47-0, 26KOs).

Khan is trying to get a fight with Mayweather for May 2nd. So is WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao. The problem for Khan is that Pacquiao's negotiations to land Mayweather are still ongoing and reportedly they are progressing well.

Yes I 100% agree with Haye here.

Khan is the man to beat Mayweather, people just don't wanna admit it out of hatred, jealousy and their own agendas.

Haye sound crazy lol. Mayweather will school that kid! He does well against tall so called boxer punchers with shaky chins.. Don't get me wrong I like Khan as of late, but he not the one to beat Money.. IMO

Haye has to be saying this because mayweather is older. because if he's talking about their fight styles. mayweather reduces khan down to a amateur. if khan fights mayweather the way he fought alexander. it will be embarrassing and a waste of mayweather's time.

No chance. As I've said before how the hell do people not expect Mayweather to expose Khan's lack of infighting skill? You could drive the Titanic through that glaring flaw and I'm not even a pro.

I just don't see it. The guys who have historically given Mayweather problems are strong pressure guys who throw hard, wide shots. I think Khan will try to stand in front of Mayweather in the middle of the ring and outbox him and I think he gets schooled. Khan has shown that he's a sucker for the left hook and has trouble fighting inside and I'm sure Floyd would be well aware of that. Wouldn't be surprised if Khan gets KO'd in the same fashion his fellow englishman Hatton did.
