Comments Thread For: Paulie Malignaggi on His Ring Future, Facing Kell Brook

Former two division world champion Paulie Malignaggi (33-6, 7KOs) is still considering the possibility of a ring return in the future. One potential opponent who Malignaggi would love to face is IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook. Malignaggi suffered a brutal knockout defeat at the hands of Shawn Porter, who then lost his IBF welterweight title to Brook by decision.

Think Paulie is still recovering from that Porter KO.One minute he didn't want the Brook fight and then the next talking about how he'd love it!

Paulie should just stick to commentating. If I had no ability to hurt anyone, I would hang them up.

        $

Give Paulie a break a bit of a loudmouth but by far the best on showtime or HBO breaking down a fight before and during. Let him get one last payday showtime not paying fight $. Makes me forget the likes of merchant calling fights.

Paulie shouldn't be fighting at this stage, especially against the elite guys at 147.

He should fight Pacquiao since he says he can easily beat him. I'd pay to see that fight

I hope Paulie does't get a shot at Kell's title as he's done nothing to deserve it .If he's to continue he should look at fighting a decent contender but judging from the Hammering he took against Porter I don't think continuing would be wise , he'd just be a stepping stone and may well get hurt as he looked in bad trouble against Porter who it seems to have decent power but not ferocious .Paulies fortunate he has a good commentary job on the safe side.

This guy has done nothing but run his mouth. He doesn't deserve a shot. Can't stand this dude.

Man, he has one more K.O. than he has L's. In the single digits too. I guess he won when it mattered. Wait?
