Because his contract with Haymon won't allow him too. AB ain't foolin nobody. Dude need to stop talking about what he is going to be and fight his way to get there.

All you hear is "I'm the next Mayweather, I'm the first boxing billionaire, I'm going to make more than $40 million, I'm going to beat pacquiao, I want a Maidana rematch, etc. etc., etc." Then the next thing you know he's fighting an obscure contender in front of a crowd of 4,000 people.

Roc nation had a result by broner turning down that 40 mill deal. Cos we all know when broner steps up again, his a55 will get smoked again. I wouldn't mind betting, in 5year broner wont be nothing more than a journey man fighting for chump change. That's the best 40 mill jayz NEVER spent. Haha. Well he seems to be popular with the African American "hip-hop" culture. I heard he was a guest at the BET awards and I saw a commercial of the Nick Cannon show and he was on it. Maybe not enough to be a massive star but its a start.

Note: he certainly is NOT talented enough, that's for sure.
