I don't think Toney's proven anything as a heavyweight. Hasim Rahman hasn't looked like a champion in recent fights either but should still prove to be a big test for Toney. At 6'2.5" Rahman is among the tallest fighters Toney has ever faced with the tallest being 6'3".
This is a prime opportunity for Toney, but I don't expect him to win. If he gets past Rahman, he's eventually going to have to fight a 6'5"-6'6"-6'7" heavyweight, and that's when he and his classless attitude will end in retirement.

Not really sure what your point is. Toney's going to be just as legitimate as Vitali was and neither are Lewis' successor. Lewis, as of yet, has no successor for the two best heavyweights in the world haven't fought yet.
