Kirstie Simmons took her show on the road in 2014 and proved she isn’t just a local attraction, she can flat out fight. Simmons went 3-0, 1KO and lost a grand total of ZERO rounds on the judges scorecards. She shut out Elizabeth Anderson, stopped the favored and hometown Nadja Ropac out in California and finished the year beating Alma Garcia, whom she also shut out on the judges scorecards. Chris Green has done an excellent job with Simmons. Now it’s time for the next step up. I don’t know how it could work with the weights, but, a showdown with Pueblo’s NABF champ Chantel Cordova makes perfect sense. It may also be time for her to look to avenge her pro debut loss to Liza Amaya.
