For the second time in as many ring appearances, Sergio Mora will fight in honor of the recent passing of a notable sports figure.

The 34-year old takes on recently crowned middleweight titlist Jermain Taylor next month at the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi. The bout comes less than two months after Mora appeared on the non-televised undercard of a special edition of ESPN2 Friday Night Fights (though on a Thursday night) as part of a tribute show dedicated to the memory of beloved boxing promoter Dan Goossen, who passed away last September following a battle with liver cancer.

Never have been a fan of Mora... no power, wacked fighting style, boring to watch. And I wonder just how many more years we haveta hear he won Contender?

Taylor fought his way back out of a hailstorm of diversions and hassles. Hope he handles this guy, which I think he should be able to do. We've got tix for it and can't wait for the show. I'd imagine this time the hall should be a full sellout.

exactlyu crazy taylor used to be one of my favorite fighters but now damn,,, dude hang em up get a regular job if you need money and live within your means it just aint worth it/ you already predisposed to being seriously injured makes no sense to me.
