    Yes, he was let go.

    But he hasn't resurfaced as a special assistant to anyone else. I know he worked with a few fighters besides Floyd.

                Nope. According to Rafeal, as part of the settlement, Schaefer is on lockdown for between 1 to 2 years. He has to stay out of boxing.
