Former WBO heavyweight champion Shannon Briggs is pleading with heavyweight king Wladimir Klitschko, and HBO, to forget about a possible April fight with Bryant Jennings. Briggs wants to be the man to challenge Klitschko at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Briggs was born in the neighborhood of the Barclays Center and promises that he's capable of selling out the entire venue from top to bottom. The veteran has chased Klitschko in several states and multiple continents, causing numerous confrontations with the champion.

Klitschko shouldn't fight Briggs. Briggs was WAY over the hill FIVE years ago when he fought Vitali, I dread to think what's he's like now.

Plus he was hospitalised after he fought Vitali, does he want to be killed??

Briggs wouldn't even be his worst opponent ever. Shot to pieces Rahman, old blown up cruiser Mormeck, Pianeta and Leapai were all worse. And of these guys, only Leapai was his mandatory, the other three he fought of his own free will.
