    Kendall Holt: I Want Hatton!

Upon hearing the announcement that Juan Lazcano has withdrawn from his May 13 challenge of IBF and WBA Light Welterweight Champion Ricky Hatton at the Foxwoods Resort, New Jersey-based contender Kendall “Rated R” Holt says it’s the perfect time for HBO to make good on a promise he says they once made to him. “HBO promised my promoter Dino Duva that my time would come to fight in a big fight, so I’m calling out HBO to get me this fight and I’m calling out Ricky Hatton to fight me. I’m ready, willing and able to step in.” [details]

Holt is a good fighter, fast and has good power but his chin doesn't seem too sturdy. He's been ko'd in one round by Thomas Davis and was dropped by Jaime Rangel.I just can't see Holt being able to take Hatton's power.

This really is getting very tiresome. I just wish Team Hatton would get a move on.

Hatton is already in camp so he won't be at a disadvantage. And I wouldn't worry about making adjustments because of opponents; whoever fights Hatton is going to get the same Hatton you've seen fight in the past. He is as good as it gets at the moment.

Holt has power but he can't take it to the body and Hatton would kill him with those hooks.

I once seen Holt on a undercard years ago good fighter but not on Hatton Level. This would not even be a fight.
