Ward has the chance to be great in the light heavy but he is playing it safe. I was a fan of Ward but not anymore
The effect of Mayweather??? the man moved up 5 divisions and 24 pounds...the **** are you talking about?

The thing is the people demanding Ward move up to 175lbs immediately, would be the same people who demand he move right back down to 168lbs to fight Golovkin.

Ward-GGG should get it on in the fall/winter of 2015.
        ^^^^^This.

Completely agree here,Ward and Virgil ave reiterated numerous, countless times they will move up,yet when it suits them.Kovalev isn't going anywhere, that fight makes sense in the near future,Kovalev has massive stock right now.why would Ward not want that fight ? But he has said he wants to grow into division.

I'm no Ward crusader or fan boy,I'm a Kessler fan ffs.its just i'm not hell bent of labelling Ward a ducker, shirker or anything,I simply ain't some butt hurt fan desperate to call Ward a duck, for not moving up.itll happen,on his terms, when he is ready,he won't be bullied or pushed, and there is the SMALL matter of a little Kazakh fella been using his name for a solid 12 month a year ago, time to follow through on your word Mr.Golovkin,or you can duck ?

What are you talking about man ? Have you followed anything Ward or Virgil have said for the last two years ?

He'll find his way to LH,don't concern yourself with that, just your dumb ass comments blogged previously when he does.

        But GGG is a middle weight doe,he can't fight him....or won't !

I'm finding this Ward/Golovkin situation very amusing. Golovkin doesn't want to move up and fight Ward because he's waiting for a money fight against Cotto or Alvarez. Ward won't move up because he's waiting for a money fight against Golovkin. The chances either guy land those fights are slim, at least in the near future.

Both guys are in the same situation, basically, too good for the fighters in their division and too good for the money to seek them out, but unwilling to move up.
However Roc changes things. Clearly theyre willing to throw money around, so Hbo would not be on the hook entirely for Ward GGG. So Ward should be able to put together an offer that makes financial sense for all

if andre ward doesnt move up to 175 then he is ducking kovalvev, but if GGG doesnt move up to 168 then its ok because he is not ducking. correct boxing scene members???? you guys and your ****** rules.

true but ward really has nothing left at 168 except dirrell. GGG still has interesting fights at 160.

ward can make plenty of money at 175.

How is Gennady involved in this? Gennady hasn't cleared out his division. Ward has.

If Roc made that fight happen by throwing crazy money at it, I'd love them forever. That's the kind of kick in the ass boxing needs sometimes to make fights.
