The bad news for 2015 is that the mega-fight the public have waited for too long, between Floyd Mayweather Jnr. and Manny Pacquiao, which was closer to reality, now looks like it won't happen. More bad news is that Audley Harrison intends to make a comeback.

At 43, he says he wants just one more shot so that he can go out on a high. The danger is he is more likely to go out on a stretcher. Especially if he gets his wish to face fellow British Olympic super-heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.

Poker-addict Harrison can't accept that he is a busted flush, a has-been who never really was once he turned pro after winning gold in the Sydney Games 15 years ago.

He hasn't fought (hardly an appropriate word in his case) since he was splattered in seconds by American Deontay Wilder in April 2013. David Price had brutalised him with similar brevity the year before we all recall his pathetic non-performance against David Haye for the WBA world title.

I first dubbed him 'Fraudley' and he now claims I was among those, together the then Frank (now Kellie) Maloney who 'messed up' his career. I can't see how.

Nominally we both may have promoted some of his fights but the truth is he actually promoted himself, always insisting there was only one way to do things-his way. That's why it didn't work out.

The guy came across as a really intelligent,nice guy with traditional family views,whilst in the home with Garey Busey,i can not help but like him after having warmed to him.I am not embarrassed to admit I have changed my opinion of him.

Yes he comes across as a clown in his ring time late in his career,what was to be expected in the Price fight after Hye destroyed him,and then to showcase him against Beyonce Wilder after the Price demolition ! Lets not forget Warren played a part in the promotion of that second mentioned fight here.

I hold Warren himself in lower esteem than Audley,call him Audrey,Fraudley all you want and like the fact remains he has made a lot of money embarrassing himself to the point he earns these tag names.the proceeds aren't blown on extravagances,torn up flushed down a toilet,blown on fleets of cars,it has all gone to the upkeep and benefit of his family.

By his own admission he doesn't use social networks or spend much time on the Internet, and with this being his quietest time of year he's probably been spending time with his family and is a bit of out the loop.

Have to agree Audley has missed the boat and could end up seriously hurt should he be allowed in the same ring as Big Josh. Amir Khan being honoured is another story, I think Frank necked that bottle of red a little too quick , steady on Frank mind the stairs !
