Comments Thread For: Adam Etches Has No Problem Facing Eubank or Ryder

ADAM ETCHES's New Year's resolution is to win titles, titles and more titles.

The hard-hitting Sheffield middleweight bolstered his world ranking by adding the IBF International and WBC Youth crowns to his collection in 2014.

But he's far from done has he has his eye on the British and European baubles and also wants to increase his credentials on the international stage.

"Everything I'm doing is going well and everyone in Sheffield is getting behind me so this should be a big year for me," Etches, 18-0 (15 KOs), said.

I've liked Etch so far, hasn't really fought anyone with a pulse but his power looks good and I think he can hurt both Eubank and Saunders and probably beats Ryder (gets hype for no reason). I remember I watched him fight last year in Sheffield, looked pretty good.

I still believe he is a level below domestic titles though and in all honesty, both Eubank and Saunders are movin towards world honours so I don't see those fights any time soon.

Btw, am I wrong or was his last fight up at super middle?

dont rate saunders or eubanks jr after theyre performances, eubanks loads up too much and doesnt throw enough volume also he's not a smooth mover he's heavy on his feet, saunders will get out hussled on the inside just like gavin.....ryders punches are way too slow, lee his feet are too wide he'd get cornered and would probably struggle more with an orthodox guy than a southpaw cause he looks right hand and right hook dominant.

Who? Move it along people, this is a Mayweather and Pacquiao forum you're stepping on.

In all seriousness, Etches has really knocked out those he probably should be knocking out anyway, no great surprises. Him v Eubank Jr isn't a bad fight anyway, i would watch it.

There could be some interesting contests happening if Nick BlackWell, Mark Heffron,, John Ryder & Adam Etches fought it out!
