Everything you say is correct. Still doesn't change Mayweather almost dropped Cotto. And doesn't change Cottos resistance to big punches isn't that great. Canelo is a big puncher. And Cotto is there to be hit. I think if he gets dragged into a war (or a semi-war) he's not going to hold up. I'm a big fan of both fighters and I know both fighters tendencies. I know Cotto will be bouncing in and out like he does when he knows he's in there with someone dangerous, he will try to execute a game plan similar to what he used vs Margarito. Difference is Canelo is ten times the boxer Margarito was and is stronger.

Good response, that's why I stated earlier that IF Cotto's stamina & chin hold up I think he'll be in a good position to win. The optimistic fan in me says Cotto can correct his stamina issues by coming forward and sitting on his punches instead of using too much lateral movement & wasting energy. My biggest question is how does Cotto handle Canelo's punch & how seasoned has Canelo become. It's a tough task for both fighters imo, that's why it's a hot fight right now.

canelo has fought better comp lately and is likely to pull it off, I bet on canelo, hes fought in a row: lara, mosely, mayweather, trout, angulo hes young and has faced some serious comp this early in his career and I think for some reason he will pull it out. No dog in this fight, but I think cotto is satisfied with his career at this point and has nothing to gain by this fight. So canelo will win
