Is Haymon and NBC creating a WWE type of project?

Haymon signing so many fighters and preventing them from taken on certain fights and the NBC deal. This leads me to believe that their plan is to create some sort of WWE type of program with their fighters where they would only fight stable mates. I don't mean that they will create the fake entertainment part just the exclusivity. Which means eventually we will only get recycled matches.
Sorry guys if this has been already covered.

I am confused now...first the complaint was Haymon fighters do not fight each other.......now it would be bad if they only fought each other?

Boxing is all about easy fights, easy money now. You're an idiot if you think Haymon gives a flying t****ze what NSB posters say. He doesn't. He'll continue to do the same things until he disappears from the sport.

I actually get it; build up fighters from scaps. Casuals can't distinguish between mismatches and competitive fights. That's his market, casual fans. They're easily attracted to fighters making it seem easy.

I'm just asking how can this formula be good for boxing and for the fans? And will the sanctioning bodies go along with it or will NBC create their own belts? (NBC champions)

American boxers all want to try and rip off Floyd Mayweather by bloating their records up on taxi drivers. Khan is with Haymon but you don't see him cherry picking fights.

His roster really doesn't have anyone interesting besides Khan, its all feather fisted traditional boxers with no marketability, clones of Devon Alexander.

I didn't slam him, I just said they were all clones of him. Devon's a great boxer, a former world champion, but he's unmarketable and boring to watch, thats just the reality of the situation.

None of them have the self belief to take a competitive fight. Their game plan is to become undefeated 25-0 then keep fighting bums and hopefully they will get a world title fight with an extremely weak champion or a vacant title fight before their 35-0.

Well I agree to this post, I've been saying this to other threads. His goal is to entertain CASUAL FANS not Hardcore Fans. It worked before with Mike Tyson. Build up their career first with decent fight. While they are on top, let them fight with bums to maintain their status.

I think they envy the money floyds demands, worth, and notoriety but he didn't get their taking short cuts....their was no road of least resistance.
when Floyd was 25-0(won title in 18th fight) he already was the lineal champion at 130 had wins over 3 former titlists/champions in Goyo Vargas, undefeated Corrales in a fight that should have been a unificiation, and Genaro Hernandez who had over a half dozen defenses was undefeated at 130 and held the wbc and wba titles respectively in his career. Mayweather had 6 defenses by his 25th fight

By 35-0 he held 2 lineal titles, and the wbc belt at 140...had wins over 9 former champions and titlists and a total of 11 titles defenses for his lineal belts

A better fighter to compare this formula to would be GGG, Broner, Deontay Wilder, John Mugabi who fought marginal comp before facing Hagler, etc.
