  • Do you guys think Andre Ward will still be awesome at 36-37 like Mayweather, Marquez?

Plus other fighters like B-Hop and the Klitschko brothers?

He will turn 31 in Febuary so do you think he will still be at the top of his game for another 5-6 years?

Ward would be great at 37, 47, 57 years old...
      And so on.

He should do alright if he has established his other arm in the gym with his time off he could really last.

Like the previous poster stated his style suits longevity. He doesn't rely heavily on athleticism and physical attributes. He's a master chess player in the ring and doesn't take a ton of punishment (he hardly fights) also while taking care of his body wen he's not in training.

May even be better at 36-37 than Mayweather, Ward is physically strong up close.

Ward has never been a great fighter. What has he done? An illegal move to cut Kessler, ruined Dawsons career by making him kill himself in the weight cut and refused to repay Froch by facing him in his country.

And on top of all that, he is BORING and can't sell out an oakland bingo hall. He's retired BTW

Is he finally moving up to LHW? Nothing left for him at 168. He cleared it out.

Don't read much do you? This guy...

To answer the question, without a doubt. The man is very gifted in the fact he his a great technician and fights to get out the same way he comes in. His set of skills are ment for longevity, His respect for his body is great and he is very skilled period. Depending on how he looks coming back from a year+ off it will be interesting how he performs, if all goes as most expect and he looks good. I would say a move up to 175 would look very interesting right now.
