Over the weight limit, under the weight limit

OMG some dumbass on youtube is trying to argue with me that JMM came in OVER the weight limit for his fight against floyd. LMAO seriously he is hell bent on "proving" that. I see something wrong there, but he wont listen smh

"Floyd came in at 146 UNDER the 147 welter weight limit. JMM came in at 142lbs 2 pounds over the 140 limit for Welter weight. NEITHER made the 144lb original contracted weight to BEGIN with.

JMM had signed for 144lbs. JMM only made 142. Floyd couldn't make 144 either so they changed to the max limit of 147 for welter weight and Floyd came in at one 146.

Key point. NEITHER made the 144lb contract. JMM didn't make 144 as he came in at 142. Nor Floyd who came in at 146."

thats what he wrote, word for word.

Youtube commenters are complete morons. But you are an even bigger moron for actually debating one of them.

There are no minimum weight limits in boxing, if you sign for a 147lbs contract limit you can come in at 147 on the dot, 142, or even 125.

The 144 clause was simply a Bone threw by team Mayweather for JMM moving up and taking the challenge, the agreement was to for JMM to be owed a specific amount for every pound over 144 which they agreed to, but Mayweather didnt have to weight 144....There was a reason team Marquez was so interested to the scale when May stepped on it

There was never a catch weight but a 144 clause........Never once was a catchweight confirmed, the media heard 144 and ran with it......
