If Floyd wins it will just further the perception that he waited until Pac was old and had been through a few more wars and cherry picked him. He wanted nothing to do with the Pac that retired ODL and Ricky Hatton and walked through Cotto.
If Pac wins it will be a big deal because Floyd hasn't lost but he didn't beat the best version of Floyd as we saw in the two Maidana fights last year.

I think it will happen. Boxrec is a bit reliable. They've jumped the gun before about other fights that got made in the past, so i think we can all assume the same for Mayweather-Pacquiao.

LOL only way Pac wins is if he can knockout Floyd or drop him several times in 12 rounds, no way he wins a decision if it goes the distance, Floyd is unbeatable when it goes to the cards no matter how much Pac hits him he will never win he has to drop him and Pac doesnt have the power to hurt Floyd.

I will take any bet with you dude, I am never wrong, only time I am wrong is when the fighter fails to follow my gameplan and they screw up. But Floyd only takes fights he knows he can win, and I will bet you if the fight gets made that Floyd stop Pacquiao withing 5 rounds, mark my words.

whats funny? I've been saying the same thing since 2012, when the fight being made was the furthest thing from possible. I've always maintained Pac from 08-10/11 probably beats mayweather in a 55-45 type of fight.

Now its simply 60-40 or maybe 70-30 in mayweathers favour, which isn't hard to believe, considering pacquiao has been in some hellacious wars and fighters of his ilk dont age as well as defensive guys, floyd isnt the only example, look at names like hopkins, moore, charles, lewis, wlad...guys who have all fought really well into their mid to late 30s or 40s.

In fact, dig up old posts where I've also said the fight just isn't interesting any more, i think i said that about a year or so ago, maybe older. I think the fight is good for business and will garner "mainstream" interest but as a boxing fan who knows his sport, na.
