Roc Nation already signed Ward if they get Rigondeaux to sign with them. That would be two P4P fighters on their stable to start off the year, not bad start... not bad at all.

If Rigo is holding his sport coat over one arm all night we'll know he is handcuffed to this Boris guy.Comment

There is a good possibilty that we won't see more than two quality fights in 2015 and 2016 with all the promotional and advisory hangups. With Al Haymon, Jay Z (Roc Nation) and Bob Arum controlling 90 percent of the quality fighters, things don't look good for boxing fans..Comment

I was ready to call this 50 cent 2.0 but Ward and Rigo this fast? Sounds like they are serious like big money serious.Comment

Roc Nations bidding on Quillin vs. Korobov might have been too high, but it did show a commitment to spend money to make fights happen. That's never a bad thing. One thing is for sure though, their recent moves have catapulted them miles ahead of where SMS Promotions is at. It's clear to see that they plan on being major players with their additions of David Itskowitch, Gary Shaw Promotions, and Andre Ward. Injecting revenue into the boxing world isn't a bad thing, it's how you build. And don't expect Roc Nation to quit spending any time soon. Within one weeks time, they've built a stable of over thirty fighters. I would expect that number to double by next month. Hate it or love it, Roc Nation is here to stay......I dont think roc Nat will send him overseas to make a half mill to fight like even TR does...not sure if he'd be better off with 50 cent or not but if roc N stays true to their "mission statement", its a waste of Rigo's time - theyre not established - nonsensical purse bidding last time too...still nothing to come of anything...Comment

Yup, you damn right.
It would be DeLahoya/Arum type of rivality all over again with these two.

Yes they are both rappers from NY, that means that they are equally bad promoters.
Seriously why you thought that "this is a 50 cent 2.0"? Jay-Z actually has a lots of experience in sport business, not in boxing but at least in sports, so I don't see that he would have so many thing common with 50.Comment
