Why is he so hung up on fighting Chavez Jr. anyway?

He's not even an active fighter or one of the best. I bet Carl had something to say about Calzaghe fighting Jones in his last fight. At least Jones hadn't been smoking weed, playing Xbox and eating McDonalds for the past 2 years.

I hate to see Carl leave without a Golovkin fight, but if anyone's earned the right to retire with an easy fight - Froch has.

Carl it's Ward you should try and pin down, as I've often said history will not be kind to you if you don't.You'll retire as only the second best super middle of your era, I know you deserve better!

IN OTHER WORDS: If I can't get the easy win against the lazy, pothead, I'll retire because I want NO PARTS of Triple G...

Chavez-Froch might not happen because Bob Arum is a control-freak and power-hunger, and I doubt Arum let's this fight happen without Chavez giving him another fight or paying him a huge percentage of the money...

Bob Arum the biggest roadblock to making big fights in boxing strikes again!

What's his fascination with Chavez Jr? He's acting as if Chavez is some sort of superstar here in the states.

Froch offered Ward the fight in England and Ward turned it down... Ward fought a nobody for peanuts...

Ward doesn't even have a promoter to negotiate a fight for him... There is no way Froch should wait on Ward... Ward's legacy should have asterisk next to it as well because he never left his country for the fight and didn't subject himself to the European blood-testing protocol that all other Super 8 Tourney fighters had to subject themselves to.

Chavez Jr. is his only PPV option that is the only reason he is mentioned. Let Froch ge his money he earned it.

Froch's resume is stacked... Froch wants the payday obviously... I know you would rather prefer him fight Ward for Peanuts in the U.S... but Chavez in Vegas would be a big money fight even though Chavez Jr. is nothing special talent wise

I don't see this being a big money fight and definitely not a ppv worthy fight.

Froch isn't a big name in the U.S and Chavez Jr lost most of his following by being an inactive lazy pot smoking bum.

Why would he want to fight in Vegas? He'll lose 80% of his purse through UK and US taxes. He should have just retired after the 2nd Groves fight. You can't top selling 80,000 tickets and delivering KO of the year. I really don't understand Froch's fascination with the place.
