Can we all agree that superstar Heavyweights is better for the sport

Can we all agree that superstar Heavyweights is better for the sport than superstar light weights?

I mean I'm just stating a common sense fact here.

I honestly don't know because any entertaining/superstar fighter in any class makes you want to watch...Heavyweight boxing has been dead for some time but boxing has flourished because of decent amount of top tier small guys...that being said, you might be right because I haven't been so excited for a fight as I am for Wilder/Stiverne in a while. If they would stack the undercard, i would have actually paid for this fight so you're probably right..I think Stiverne is better also, but Wilder is much better for the division

I believe so. In the history of the sport, the most prestigious award was the heavyweight title. Just in recent years has it gone down hill. In time I believe it will regain it's glory but first Wladimir Klitschko must go!! He lacks the personality and skills people want to see in the heavyweight divison. Not be bias against Klitchko but the fact remains since Klitchko took the crown the glory of that crown has gone down dramatically!

You need an AMERICAN Heavyweight Superstar. Like it or not, the move the needle in this sport.

I agree. I know a lot of people who are turned off by weight classes below welterweight because they look like little kids.

Don't think so. Alot of epic rivalries between guys who werent heavyweights have given us some of the best fights in history. Duran-Leonard-Hagler-Hearns, Morales-Barrera, etc. If Floyd and Manny fight it will be the richest fight in history. Doesn't matter what weight class, boxing fans just want the best vs. the best.

                ????
I've often said I don't think Wilder is the future but he will bring some flare and attention. I think the future of the divison will rest on Anthony Joshua shoulders. The man is a monster.

Only if said "superstar" is an exciting fighter. It would no boxing no good to be associated with boredom.
