This is a good move for each party..
Roc nation needed infrastructure in the fight game, and shaw provides that.
Shaw needed financial backing and roc nation can provide that

This is an amazing move by Roc Nation, especially getting a ready made stable of fighters. My only problem is that we're probably going to see a whole new cold war era in boxing between Jay-Z and Al Haymon. Haymon had Quillin toss aside his belt and 1.4 million because Roc Nation won the purse bid. If they want to complete with Haymon, or push him out, they should try to absorb Banner or DiBella as well so that they can bring in some champions. Preferably Banner, cause I think Andrade has a bright future and Provodnikov will ultimately have the same marketability as Gatti used to have.

Roc Nation is Co-Promoting a show with CES next week. What's the chance that by mid week we hear that Roc Nation has bought CES as well? That would create quite the stable of fighters. At least enough to interrupt Al Haymon's plan to take over boxing. Promoters have to be sick of this guy operating like he owns the sport while he sets up b******t fights.
