    Yep.

He surpassed Calzaghe a long time ago, at this point he can barely even see him in the rear view mirror.

Bob Arum doesn't keep his mouth shut about anything. Yet, he has barely spoken about this matter. The reason is he knows he has no promotional rights to Chavez Jr. When the Chavez Jr./Froch fight is announced, Arum will claim that he cancelled the lawsuit that he allegedly filed and decided to let Chavez Jr. out of his contract for the good of boxing when the truth is that he never had a leg to stand on in this matter.

When that happens, there will be 100 posts from idiots on this site praising Arum for being such as wonderful person.
      He spoke about it recently.

He hasn't said much but I suspect if the fight is announced he will raise "holy hell" as you put it.

I'm no Arum supporter but you flomos who have been duped by Jr. into believing he is the devil are funny and naive in equal measure.

Uhm Bob is raising a holy hell - via Dan Petrocelli (their infamous lawyer) filing a federal lawsuit in August. Arum's not going to make a lot of comments on it because it could jeopardize his case. I think the case was expanded (was for Mikey Garcia) to see if Al Haymon is guilty of tampering.

We'll see what the judge says.

There's not been a peep stateside about this, not from HBO/Showtime/Haymon's people.

Only Bob Arum who's stated he'll file a law suit if it goes ahead.

Recall Fat Dan saying something only last week about it not bein close either.

Showtime PPV is the only network that could Broadcast this but they've not said a peep either. HBO won't work with Haymon and NBC isn't PPV which is what Froch wants. "A PPV fight on HBO in Vegas". He's used that phrase a number of times.

I've said it for a while, this fight won't happen.
Fat Dan gets all of his information from Bob Arum and reports exactly what Arum tells him to report. Fat Dan doesn't have a clue about what Al Haymon and Hearn may be doing.

Arum supposedly already has filed a lawsuit. Why would he need to file another one?

How? Arum doesn't even like Rafael, he has publicly insulted him on at least two occasions.

Arum is not going to make a lot of comments? Sure, and the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus live next door to me! Arum is lying, pure and simple! Once the fight is announced, you and others will see that.

How can Al Haymon be guilty of tampering if he is not a promoter, Chavez has every right to higher Al Haymon and Haymon has every right to steer Chavez in the direction he believes to be most beneficial to him. As Chavez' manager he also has the right to pursue fights, as well as negotiate on behalf of the fighter he is representing.
