Do feather fisted, low Ko percentage fighters feel emasculated?

....for not being able to hurt their opponents. In a sport where the objective is to hurt your opponent.

I just rewatched a Malignaggie-Broner press conference, where Malignaggie is visibly angry and he says something to the extent of, "On saturday, I'm gonna beat the **** out of you".

It sounded unbelievable coming out of his mouth despite all the verbal ownage he put on Broner prior to that. I felt a little sad for him. He was clearly yearning for the ability to hurt, drop, Ko a guy like Broner but knows he cannot deliver. There are many fighters like him; It's not Malignaggie specific.

It's almost like that guy who can't get it up to a hot girl, despite her best efforts to get him hard.

Not really feather fisted guys usually develop the best defences in the sport or they are feather fisted because they are very defensive either way. Ivan Calderon, Willie Pep, Nicolino Locche, Harry Greb all very capable of making fighters look very foolish

Another analogy: Floyd likes to say how he is "God gifted" as a boxer, but he breaks/hurts/injures his primary tool on a regular basis. How does this feel while other fighters never break their hand (which means they are meant to hit people with it) and hit much harder.

While he is still a career long winner, it can't feel good to have your hand go limp-wristed fight after fight.

If the feather fisted fighter hits the opponent enough times the damage accumulates and will still be shown after the 12th.....or 10th

There actually is something very feminine about a professional boxer who hits like a girl. Its also really BORING.

That's what I'm saying. The entire art of boxing, I.E. the intense staredown, are futile. The feather fisted fighter cannot possible come off as authentic locking eyes with his power-punching opponent durring the press conference like he is gonna do anything.

All he can do is move around and hopefully win on points.

Kovalev vs Cleverly was the ultimate example of this. A c**ky, posh, middle class, uni graduate with no power vs an alpha male who grew up in a harsh place like Russia which creates real humble, stoic men with big skill, power and tough guy aura.

There is simply nothing marketable about anyone who doesn't have respectable power or doesn't come across as a legit tough guy. Even after Groves had a great first fight against Froch, in the back of our minds we still believed that Froch would give him a pasting in the rematch simply because Groves has a fragile little boy aura about him.

Is Floyd fist really that brittle? is that medically proven or documented?

his left ribs was also known to be easily hurt.

I don't know but feather fisted guys are always screaming that their power is underrated. Algieri said he's hurt every guy he's ever fought. lol
