I can understand how Cotto has earnt gimme fights at the twilight of his career but its a huge shame that multiple title holders have been in GGGs division and holding them ransom from him for a few years now whilst he's in his prime. When has it ever been that bad that no one will fight a guy at his natural weight so that he has to move up and fight bigger guys?
Cotto sells PPV fights... he is #3 right behind Floyd & Pacquiao, so he is in the drivers seat.
I like GGG, he brings KO's to the fold... only issue is he looks great because opposition are C level fighters, low talent pool in Middleweight division. Cotto is a very small Middleweight... before he fought Sergio everyone here said he was getting KO'd in 2 rounds, even with Sergio having a bad knee... Cotto hit Martinez with a perfect timed left hook to the head & Sergio went down in 1st round... now Cotto haters say Sergio was a bad knee bum. Either way I think Cotto gives him a chance in the future, Cotto is known for taking risky fights.

I like Cotto but I have to see this fight. I think Cotto can make it interesting for most of the fight. GGG KO9 though.

At Middleweight (160lbs) GGG is the BEST fighter in the world. He has beaten everyone in front of him and the others on the side are afraid of him!!!
That's the fact the all know now!
He is capable of holding his own commercially and he is the only fighter right now who does everything he can to end a fight before the time allowed as run out!
Cotto would look like he did a few years ago against any good puncher his poor state of mind and physical problems will return quickly after a few well placed punches, he knows it.
As for Quillan or any other middleweight the contract has been open for years now and the money is fair! What great paydays have they earned?

Sergio thought Cotto was beatable and he knew GGG was to much, he was a terrible champion and bad leg or not he got beat prior to Cotto and Cotto finished him off.

Cotto fights Canelo at 160 then the winner goes in with GGG, makes no difference both would run and eventually get stopped!
            Ray.

Quillin who beat N'dam and no one else of note except Rosado who he was losing to when the fight was stopped on a technicality.
No one is better than Golovkin, yet I think he needs to fight Quillen if he beats Murray to solidify his status. Just to show the whole world who's boss by beating the best.

Lol @ PR fans finding a lame excuse to defend Cotto. If the man doesn't like bigger shoes then he should not have bought them.
