Unbeaten middleweight, Tommy Langford will provide the chief support to the Stephen Ormond v Terry Flanagan lightweight title clash for the WBO European belt on St. Valentine’s Day at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall.
Langford 11(2)-0-0, originally from Devon now residing in Birmingham, will fight in the first ten rounder of his career with opponent set to be announced later in the week.
The 25-year-old Frank Warren fighter expressed confidence at the prospect of competing in the longer rounds, “I’m very excited, to be honest; personally, the longer the fight – the better I’ll be. I expect the latter rounds to be my best. I’m always in good shape and known for being very fit. One of main assets as fighter is my engine and the experience in sparring shows that.”
