Comments Thread For: Garcia Not Ruling Out Brandon Rios KO of Alvarado

Robert Garcia, trainer of Brandon Rios, is not concerned with the recent legal issues connected to Mike Alvarado. Rios and Alvarado will trade shots for a third time on January 24th in Colorado. Their first fight took place in October 2012, with Rios getting a seventh round stoppage of Alvarado in a war. The rematch took place in March of 2013. This time Alvarado boxed instead of slugged and won a unanimous decision.

Unless Alvarado is extremely under trained from all the legal trouble and mentally isn't there, that's the only way Rios stops him again.

Rios is not the same fighter who stopped him before. Not saying he can't win but most likely this is going to be another war that goes to the cards.

The only reason I don't count on it is because fake warrior Alvarada is going to run like a bish in this one like he did in the rematch. Guy is a coward. I'll be rooting hardcore for Rios though, psychotic level. I don't like Alvarado, he is fake and poosy.

Alvarado is slightly damaged after a few wars. I think rios will stop him somewhere around 8-10.
