Floyd gets his info hands on or 1 person away - Manny gets his info 2 - 3 people away (arum /koncz/gacal) so it can get lost in translation. Arum has Cotto for his bidding - DE LA Hoya has canelo. It's a ego thing now with these guys boxing Floyd off a date he has had secured and has fought on since he defeated DE LA hoya. The fight can be signed sealed and delivered over a weekend - It's not about the $ to Arum or Oscar they want to put Floyd in his place ! I wish Manny was more hands on with his boxing career so he can truly see what his team is on, but his too loyal fan base are just as blind as he is - you guys need to speak up if you want to see this fight - Floyd has done his part, now it is Manny MAKING Arum do his job! But I see Arum aggressively trying to get the Cotto / Canelo fight done for said date but leaving his #1 client assed out and having him fight (Roy Jones trained fighter cannot even remember his name) watch - unless we have divine intervention
One of the best posts I've yet to read. Thanks for this! I was beginning to think that no other boxing fans are enlightened to the BS going around.

He should be fighting Brook in the UK, possibly at Wembly. Would be a huge fight and Brook is a title holder so if he wins he becomes more attractive to both Floyd and Pac.
I think he knows Brooks style is all wrong for him and Kell is built to exploit Khan's weakness.
Styles make fights. I think Khan would be a major challange for Floyd as he hasn't seen that type of handspeed since Judah in 2006. Don't know if Khan can put together 12 rounds to get the win though after Mayweather figures him out and times him up.
Brook and Pacquiao are both bad fights for Khan, I think both KO him.

I think it also comes down to Mayweather not wanting to partake in a fight he feels he can't get up for. I could be wrong but I wouldn't doubt it.

Another sign that he is just looking for the easiest route possible, besides my aforementioned facts and the fact that he signed to al Haymon, is the fact that hes been saying he thinks mayweather would be easier to beat than pacquiao. He sparred pacquiao when they were both with Freddie Roach so he must already know Pacquiao would lay a real beating on him and knock him out. Mayweather doesn't have the kind of power to knock him out so khan really has a good chance to beat mayweather by a decision.

The problem with this is again as I mentioned truly great fighters don't pick and choose the best suitable opponent for them to pad their record. Truly great fighters take on all the best no matter what style and prove that their the best by beating them. This is what made pacquiao so legendary with his wins over prime legends morales 2/3 barrera 2/2 prime marquez 2/2 and prime cotto. This is why pacquiaos resume is considered much superior to mayweather because mayweather has yet to beat a single legendary fighter in their prime at their best while pacquiao has beaten all those guys in their prime.

People say well he beat marquez, well yea dummy he moved all the way up from lightweight to welterweight for the first time similar to what broner did with maidana of course mayweather easily beat him. Plus mayweather came in overweight so that isn't even a legit win. Again mayweather hasn't beaten a prime legend at their best weight. Even cotto was a past his prime manny left over. Manny demolished cotto in his prime.

Also manny was the first to ever knock down and knock out morales and barrera. Mannys resume is so far above and beyond mayweathers handpicked b level fighters its not even close. Maweathers best wins are over washed up past prime fighters de la hoya and mannys leftover cotto and mannys leftoever lightweight marquez in a bout which mayweather came in overweight for lol think about all that for a second guys, let it sink in and come back and talk to me

The truth is mayweather already said he doesn't fight for the fans he fights for himself, so therefore he will fight whoever he thinks he can beat and isn't the biggest risk at the moment, but who also has a little bit of hype behind them. This is what hes been doing for years just go look at his resume, he hasn't beaten a single top fighter in their prime at their best. Oscar was past prime washed up, marquez came up from lightweight and mayweather was overweight, cotto was mannys leftover badly beaten. Those are his best wins lol and sadly this is the guy people think is the best of the era when manny beat Prime marquez 2/2 at his best weight, prime morales 2/3 at best weight, prime barrera 3/3 at best weight, and prime cotto at his best weight which is welterweight nobody cares about the ****** 2 lb catchweight, welterweight was his best weight. Even a prime Bradley is a bigger win than anything Floyd has on his record.

Also one more great point I should make before I go to sleep, Mayweather is guaranteed 32 million regardless of who he fights. Since hes said numerous times he doesn't fight for the fans he fights for himself and he is guaranteed 32 million regardless, that is the exact reasons he doesn't fight the best available opponents and that is why if the pacquiao fight doesn't get made he will fight another overhyped opponent. He simply has no incentive to take a risky fight, remember health is always more important he prides himself on not taking punishment! goodnight you floid stans hope you keep having those nightmares of pacquiao beating mayweather!

A win over Khan puts Manny back at 50/50 split status with the money versus Floyd.
