Comments Thread For: Brandon Rios: I Expect Alvarado To Run, I'm Ready!

Question: Discuss your first two bouts against Alvarado and what to expect in the final chapter of this trilogy.

Brandon Rios: "Our first two fights were exciting and have become legendary. I am proud to be associated with them and with Mike Alvarado. We gave the fans and ourselves the best we had to offer and produced spectacular performances. It was so intense and so close. All I kept thinking in each fight was 'Don't stop. Keep moving forward.'

By run I think he means "not stand there and be hit" kinda like Pacman did him.

Learn how to cut off the ring.

Watch some Roberto Duran tapes, he did it WELL.

Antonio Margarito cut off the ring good as well.

Alvarado looks like he's been smoking crack in his mug shot. Rios is going to hurt this dude.

although alvarado is a more well rounded fighter, imo he is the most worn fighter. those beatings he took with ruslan and marquez had to take some life out of him. then with this distraction. not looking so good alvarado.

"I expect Alvarado to do what he did in the second fight, which is to run and move. He thinks I am going to follow him like I did in the second fight. His fight game did change from one fight to the other as he didn't fight toe to toe in the second fight. He did move and run around more in the second fight. At least I think he did, you can call it whatever you want. We are working on everything we think he will be bringing to the table, but this time we will be 100% ready for him. Preparation is our motto.

Then you got to cut off the ring like Mares did with Moreno.

Rios trying to bait Alvarado to go toe to toe which rios prefers

If Alvarado moves like he did early on vs Ruslan he can win rounds but dude can't help himself and he'll lose

And Alvarado has mental issues lately

                    Rios is surely gonna win
